My Favorite Mango Salsa

Now that it is summer, I have been craving fresh fruits and vegetables non-stop. Any recipe that I get to add this mango salsa becomes an instant favorite in my house!

This is so easy and may be my favorite salsa of all time. I am a sucker for a sweet and salty food, and this is exactly that. The mangoes are so juicy and sweet, and then you get the spice from the jalapeño. The red onion and cilantro take it to the next level! Prep this a few hours ahead of time and you are good to go.

This salsa is essential for my jerk chicken bowls. Definitely check this recipe out!

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people. He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Psalm 113:7-9

How to Make This Mango Salsa

Please see recipe card at the bottom of this post for the full recipe details.

  1. Dice. Cut up your red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and limes. Cut your mangoes in your preferred method, I like to do the “porcupine” method.
  2. Mix. In a mixing bowl add in all of the chopped veggies and mango and stir. Squeeze over the fresh lime and sprinkle with salt. Give it a taste and add more salt as needed.
  3. Serve! Easy as that. Serve with chips or over your favorite tacos/burrito bowls. Enjoy!
