I am here with another hawaiian roll slider because I am slightly obsessed with gameday appetizers. I think I could survive off of hawaiian roll sliders, and an assortment of dips with chips. These are a combination of goat cheese and pepper jelly which are two of my most favorite things. I added some deli turkey to this to balance out the richness and also make them more substantial for a crowd!
These flavors work so good together, and at this point I am convinced you could put anything on a Hawaiian roll and it would be delicious! If you need a quick gameday appetizer to bring to a party or for hosting, these are perfect! You could even go crazy and make on tray of the goat cheese pepper jelly sliders, and another tray of my Muffuletta Hawaiian Roll Sliders. I will come to your party if that is on the menu!
I am loving these quick appetizer idea recipes! I of course get to eat these after recipe development and that is the best part of this gig. I hope you enjoy these, let me know in the comments at the end of the recipe! Enjoy!

Why You Should Make Goat Cheese & Pepper Jelly Sliders
Here’s what you’ll need:

Goat Cheese & Pepper Jelly Slider Tips
- Let the goat cheese get to room temp so it can whip up better. Or microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
- I love getting local pepper jelly if possible!

How To Make Goat Cheese & Pepper Jelly Sliders
- Goat Cheese. If you have time to let the goat cheese get to room temperature, do so. If not and you forgot like me, place goat cheese in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds to soften it up. Add the softened goat cheese to your stand mixer bowl (can use hand mixer here) and add a splash of milk (about a tsp). Let whip for 2 minutes until nice and fluffy. Set aside.
- Preheat. Preheat the oven to 350℉. Slice the entire connected sheet of Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle. That way we have a bottom bun layer, and a top bun layer. Remove the top layer carefully. Place the bottom layer onto a sheet pan so they are ready to go in the oven once assembled.
- Assemble. Add sliced deli turkey in an even layer on the bottom buns. Spread whipped goat cheese evenly across the turkey. Microwave pepper jelly for 30 seconds in the microwave so it is runnier and will spread better. Pour pepper jelly over the goat cheese and spread pepper jelly so it is an even layer. Add top layer of buns back on top. Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake! Bake for 15-20 minutes until the goat cheese is oozing out and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve! Serve immediately and have the option to add red onion and arugula. I think the red onion adds a nice bite and cuts through the richness of the pepper jelly/goat cheese combo! Enjoy!
